This moose is roughly one year old. She recently had been "kicked out" by her mother. She was standing by the St. John River in Fort Kent all weekend eating. Other than that, she didn't know what to do with herself.
She came upon shore and into our yard to lay her eggs.
I called this guy back to me after he ran out of the road and into the woods.

My oldest daughter immediately thought of Tarzan when she saw this picture.
The reason that she has patches of hair missing is because she is changing from her winter coat to her summer coat.
